On the first Sunday of September, the 'Zand' square in Bruges was transformed for the 8th time into the annual place-to-be for cheese lovers. Visitors could try the most delicious cheeses from Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Switzerland and elsewhere for free, right on the square next to the Concertgebouw. Nazareth's cheeses were also enjoyed by all and sundry.

With side activities for young and old, the Cheese market was a wonderful day out for the whole family. As usual, the Alkmaar Cheese Carriers and the Swiss Alphorn Ensemble were also in attendance. The VLAMO accordion festival gave the square some extra oomph. And of course next to all those delicious cheeses were the accompanying beers and wines. The Brugse Autonome Bierproevers (Bruges Independent Beer Tasters) were on hand to give advice on the right beers.

True to tradition, Nazareth was also in attendance at the Cheese market. Our Classic & Light cheeses provided an intense taste sensation for dozens of visitors to our stand. We can look back on a successful event. Note the 1st of September next year in your diary already, the date of the next Cheese market in Bruges.
